Google has been the subject of much scrutiny and controversy lately.
This week, The Intercept published an article linking Pokemon Go founder John Hanke with “one of the greatest privacy debacles of the internet era” while he was working at Google. Dubbed the “Wi-Spy” scandal, the incident took place while Hanke was running Google’s Geo division, which includes Google Maps and Google Earth, from 2007 to 2010.
