On July 8, ABC anchor, Diane Sawyer, took to the airwaves to bring millions of Americans news about the latest round of violence in Israel-Palestine. But, instead of reporting the news, Sawyer made headlines herself. During the broadcast, the veteran journalist described footage of destroyed civilians homes leveled by the Israeli military and belonging to Palestinians in Gaza, as Israeli homes pulverized by Hamas rockets.
