Over the course of the past few years, wars have ravaged countries throughout the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) and neighboring regions. Fleeing violence, refugees are leaving their homes in an effort to find safety in Europe. This article is the first in a series on the implications the refugee crisis poses for Central & Eastern Europe.
